Why Precision?

Precision is a Not-For-Profit Organization (NPO) operating in the Health Sector offering Medical Laboratory Proficiency Testing (PT/ EQA) services. The organisation is legally identifiable in Botswana and is registered as a Trust. The Trust’s main responsibility is to provide proficiency testing samples in East and Southern Africa region.Other services offered include training and mentorship of healthcare facilities towards process improvement, certification and accreditation. It’s Head Office is physically located in Gaborone, Botswana.

Activities

  • Launching of REQA Programme
  • Selected Laboratories will be guided towards accreditation and/ or 
    continuous improvement.
  • Training on standards: ISO 15189, ISO 17043. ISO 17025, ISO 19011.
  • Mentorship: Key areas will include HIV testing, HIV monitoring 
    (HIV Viral Load, CD4 and TB).
  • Partnerships  targeted at impactful outcomes
